Archaeology in the Community (AITC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Alexandra Jones in 2009 in Washington, DC. Dr. Jones and her team partner with educational institutions, cultural organizations, and communities for high-quality programming. Archaeology is a way to understand the past, which is essential to making better decisions about our future. We invite you to attend an event, become a volunteer, and get involved to support our mission. Your donations and sponsorships allow us to continue to serve communities and bring archaeology education to all.
