The annual DC Day of Archaeology Festival gathers archaeology organizations in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia together in one location to inform our community about local archaeology resources. The event is organized by Archaeology in the Community and held in June as part of DC Archaeology Month. Find hands-on activities for all ages at this free, fun, family-friendly event!

During this year's DC Day of Archaeology, you'll find archaeologists and heritage professionals from many different local organizations, agencies, and companies, including: the DC Preservation League, Historic St. Mary's, the Archaeological Society of Maryland, Montgomery County Parks, Historic Germanna, the American Society of Overseas Research, WSP USA Inc., and more.
Please be aware that there is no parking on site at Tudor Place. There is street parking on 31st St. NW, 32nd St. NW, R St. NW, and Q St. NW. If you are able, we encourage you to walk, bike, or use public transportation for all or part of your trip. Tudor Place is 1-mile walk from the Dupont Circle Metro Station (red line) and close to the D2, D6, G2, 31, and 33 Metrobus routes.
